Last Saturday, July 6th, 2019, 6PM was the opening and ribbon cutting of ¡Viva la Vida! A Celebration of Frida's Life, a one-week festivity that honors the life and art of Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo, who was born on July 6th, 1907, and died on July, the 13th, 1954.
¡Viva la Vida! A Celebration of Frida's Life is an interdisciplinary educative and entertaining event, that mixes story-telling, songs, look-alike contest, dances, fine art crafts, Iive painting, and an art exhibit of various local artists who found inspiration on the life and work of Frida Kahlo!
