Popol Vuh Presentation

Published on Nov 5, 2016

In the 1930's, Harvard scholar John Weatherwax, asked maestro Diego Rivera, to do 26 drawings to illustrate his English translation of the Maya-Quiché book, The Popol Vuh. Although this transition was never published, Diego Rivera left an amazing set of watercolors that were just recently published by her daughter. "Diego Rivera: The Colors of the Popol Vuh" is a multimedia presentation that explores the stories contained in these paintings, accompanied by songs from Mexico and Central America.
